A year gone, a year ahead
Then, our writing has been slim and none this year. Its only been recently that we have gotten something substantial done, and thankfully. a book that would have normally taken us 1 month to write took 10. Ugh it sucked. The book is good though.
We had FEW releases this year, and that sucked as well. I like having a bunch of things coming out. Keeps me on my toes, but I have noone to blame for that but me and Audra.
So already 2009 has been shaping up better. We have a release almost every month from January to June, Audra's hubby is going to be away from home for 2 months starting Jan 5th so we can get all the WIP's off our list, and I plan on pitching at RT this coming April. Im hopeful that everything will be better in 2009. I know a lot of people are.
I know with the industry being what it is, that we all have a tough time ahead of us all by way of selling, but i think 2009 is going to be a better year for everyone. Readers are still reading and those of us that are really serious about our work are out there in the trenches to get that sale. I hope all of us that are going that extra mile for our careers are recognized for it.
I will be doing my part, and have been just told that Ill be one of the Go Green Authors for the ARe promotion starting in March 2009. Im so excited about this, and see the opportunity as one of the great things Ill be involved in next yet. More on that as i get it.
So happy New Year to all. Enjoy some alcohol and food with freinds tonite, and resolve to make next year 100% better for you and yours.

the holidays and whats coming this week
We are almost finished with two books, one for a revise for Loose id, which we are hoping they like the extended version so to speak, an one we are getting ready for pitching at RT. I love this book, love the characters and the premise, and Im hoping it will do well once it gets out there. And of course, we have to work on Book three of the snakes. Its already started, have about 2k written (which isnt much but it is a start, espcially when we are working on several othe books as well) and im hoping to have masquerade ready to go for a May or June release.
London for the Holidays has a Jan 5th release date, which Im very excited about. Since its out only vampire book to date (and probably ever) im hoping we get some new readers that just read the bloodsuckers LOL. though I will say that the story is good, and different, and when it goes into print, it will have a special short story called No Good Deed Goes Unpunished, and its about Marsh, and Janey after the end of Gifts. It happens on New Years, when The Devil comes to visit for a small conversation and bargain. Sorry, no sex in this one, Janey is pregnant and all, but it explains a lot that people were asking about.
So Im off to watch cartoons and enjoy my saturday. Hope you all had a good holiday!

Letter to the ARe Santa, #3
Dear Santa,
I have been a very good girl this year. What do I want for the holidays? An iPhone/iTouch so that I can use Stanza to read all the romance I need from all the publishers I love that I buy at All Romance eBooks. You see, Santa, I deserve the iPhone/iTouch because...I I really need to join the 21st century. My cell phone is horrible, and I drop calls, and the phone calls places like South America... and last week it was HONG KONG. I know no one there. See, I should be doing something like this for my mum, or my boyfriend, or grandpa... but really I want it for me. I never ask for anything expensive like this, because money every year is tight and I cant justify spending the kinda money they cost when the cost of living is so high. Im usually a sock and pajama kinda girl. When you have the choice of paying a bill or buying something that you would like to have, the need outweights the want, especially if you dont wanna freeze or read by candlelight. It would be cool to have something current, especially when I normally get something a year after, if not later.
I would like to be more green, and this is a great way to be green, and help to get the E book word out there... When Im at the bookstore and see someone and we talk e books, it would be great to be able to show them (and show off ARE, lol) and get more people into e books, helping to keep the world green.
Thanks Santa, Please pick me!
XOXO

We Sold!
So Audra and I are super excited about this, TEB is fantastic, our editor is the COOLEST, and we have a great opportunity with TEB. I cant wait to become part of their family! I'm looking forward to getting the covers, and seeing the books out again. So those of you who are looking for the Snakes, soon guys... soon!
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and Im baking up a storm while Audra and I are outlining the third snake book. Its going to be awesome I think, and you will get to see a different side of snake life... a more regimented and austere kinda society. Book three doesnt take place at Knossos West, but in the wilds of the Mojave Desert... Are you intrigued yet? LOL I thought you would be!
Back to it all. Have a great thanksgiving everyone, And enjoy the food and family! Oh and dont get too drunk!

I really want one. I don't make anywhere near the kinda bank it takes to buy one, and Should probably enter the technological mainstream. Hell I'm still using a craptastic phone that unlocks on its own, calls places like Argentina and Japan without my knowledge, and runs up my bills. Honestly who do i know in South America? NO ONE. Also, As I have recently started reading E books, It would help in that as well. I only buy my e books off ARe and now that ARe is on Stanza... it would make it one hell of a merry christmas this year.
XOXO

Marsh has taken over.
We are still waiting on the snake submission for the novella's. Im so keyed up about it I'm almost to the point of paranoia. With everything going on so crappy this year, I feel like we need a win somewhere. I was hoping this was going to be it, and we would have the Novella's back on our release list with a damn good publisher to annouce this year, but it doesnt look like thats going to happen at this point.
2008 has been a wasted year for writing for us. With the wedding, and now Audra geting back in the swing so slowly... Im frustrated and trying to figure out ways to get shit back on track. Its not that easy. I still have hopes though, that the remainder of the year will turn around.
Dont forget, we are taking part in the Winter Wonderland Scavenger Hunt with some of the best names in E book! (Why we are involved is anyones guess) and you can check it out HERE. Lots of great prizes, enter and win!
Im back to working on Marsh before Audra gets on. Hopefully I'll bang out another 500 words.

Jewelry, Squirrles and Submissions...
Im hopeful we will get this finished to send to our beta for Christmas holidays, as I want this ready to go for RT so I can pitch. I dont think its a hard thing to do. Im scared, because I have never pitched before, but I think it will be good for me, though im going to have to work on said pitch with our Beta. Thank god shes more grounded then me, shes already helped me greatly on that end.
In personal news, Audra's sugar gliders are pregnant. Shes eager to see the babies, but is freaked out by all the singing the female does to the pouch, and all the barking the male (batfink) does when people go near the cage. Squirrles are not suppoed to bark. Period. So this holiday should be an interesting one for her to say the least.
Me? Well nothing good to report, nothing bad either. Im hoping we will have contract news soon but I'm honestly not holding my breath. But, with the jewelry, I have started a Etsy store, and Im so excited. Im designing steampunk jewelry, and accessories, and Im working into a few other things. Looking forward to opening on the 15th. If you are reading this, and stop by Stella by Starlight, and find something you JUST have to have, convo me on etsy, and I will cut out the shipping, and you will have it in your grubby mitts before christmas. Everything comes giftboxed and with a special Stella by Starlight tag.
Well thats me. Im off to get some writing done before the supplies for the rest of the jewelry come. Audra and I are averaging between 2-8k a day. Im saying it a good thing.

Work is never done
Though we are still waiting on submissions, and I admit I truly hate waiting. Im anxious to get these books placed you know? Though i know things are hard all over, so I shall try to be patient, and hope for the best.
I'm working on some new jewelry and Happy about how its turning out. If you wanna see, check out my store Stella By Starlight on etsy.com. Ooh and if you mention this blog post you'll get free shipping. Just convo me before you buy the piece so I can relist the piece. All pieces come gift boxed, with a holigram box, ribbon and a Stella by Starlight tag. And maybe some cool goodies as well.. Heh
So Im very excited about our new president as well. Audra and I had been chatting about me moving to Scotland if McCain won... So I guess it all worked out, LOL.
Back to writing. We are kicking major ass with this one. Im looking forward to finishing it though, because we have 5 more books in the same world brewing and percolating. LOL.

Art of the cover info
Also, the forums section they are going to be offering classes and contests so that you can grow as an artists and make your portfolio grow as well.
I'm going to be running a class in January I think, that's if they accept it. Apparently there is a group of professionals that decided by a criteria if you are a registered professional, but i think we should all get an account there and work with them to make our jobs easier.

updates and all that jazz.
I'm ill again, no surprise given the time of year, but I'm doing much better. We have a signing next Saturday, last of the year, in Middletown NY. I'm hopeful we get a much better turnout this time. I still need to send out the Info on myspace and such. *shrug*
And I have stared doing steampunk jewelry. Im opening a Etsy shop soon, once i get enough stuff to add to the shop that is. Still deciding on a name for it though. Any insights will be welcome.
Audra and I are still waiting on submissions... and as usual, we are antsy panty about it. We recently got a rejection that made NO SENSE considering they told us the book WASNT romance, then told us that the book would be much better suited for Category rather then single title. Yeah, oh and we were 1.2k shy of their work cap. Yeah, I know. We are baffled as well. *Sigh* I think I would have appreciated it more if they just said "Snakes scare me and Im comfortable publishing anything having to do with them." *sigh*
So im back to writing. See you guys soon

A breakthrough
So i thought I would drop in for a few and give you guys an update. Still waiting on the submission for the snake novella's and the novel.. but I'm hopeful. The stories are good and you awesome readers keep asking for them... So here's hoping that they get placed soon.
So its back to work for me. I have to get through another 500 words before Audra and I keep going on things together. I'm so excited about this book...

Fucked weekend
So this con is off my list for next year. I wont be coming back and being treated like shit. But the panels were ok, Amusing people on them to say the least. Oh and I was molested by a dragon puppet. Yeah. I know.
On the upswing, I got an octopus stuffed animal, and named him Archibald Witwicki. Yep. I know.
So Im off to walk about Albany, and maybe get some pictures and such. Heres hoping anyway. We have one panel left, at 2pm, and then Im going HOME. Its been a fucked weekend. But... It was an experience.

The right kinda working...
We should probably hit between 45-50k by the end of the week. I'm saying that pretty damn good for a week's worth of intensive soul searching in a new book. Now we have to decide names and Im slowly outlining the next three books in the 6 book series. The guys are... well they are stunning really.
And tomorrow I'm getting ready to leave for the convention, I don't know how insane its going to be to leave the Inferi world but I have to for the good of our career LOL. So its back to work today. Wish us luck.

I love working on books
This past weekend was Collingswood, the book festival. We did pretty darn good, and had a damn good time. Sold some books, met some awesome people, and gave away a bunch of books to a few libraries. It was a damn fine thing to say the least.
So this week is a lot more writing. Audra and I are hoping to cap another 20k by friday. If we do, we will be in pretty good shape for a first draft of this book. By November 1st im looking to have this first draft done and we are rolling into bulking it up, and edits. Not a hard thing considering how hard we are hitting this one.
This weekend Im going to be in Albany for the AlbaCON convention. Im going to be on several panels including Sex in Fantasy, Urban Fantasy 101 and my personal favorite, BRittish SFF shows and why america is in love with them. WOOO. So excited. Im also on a New Author Mentoring panel, and I have a signing on Saturday at noon. It should be a lot of fun, but damn if i dont need to actually go shopping for clothes that dont scream "punk rock." No im not changing my appearance, Im just toning it down a notch, gotta be professional you know. LOL.
After this weekend we have one more signing, Nov. 1st, and then I am done till January. Though to be honest Come Nov. 5th Ill be back to setting up the signings for the next year all over again. Damn vicious cycle.
On the upswing, Im doing new hobbies. Im making steampunk jewelry. Joe's dad is a big watch colector , and hes got tons of old broken moving parts and cogs and the like. I figured it should be pretty good to have a ready supply of parts so why not use them. So be on the lookout for my new jewelry... Im still thinking of if i should create a company around it.
So thats it from our end. Im off to write some more, and get some mail ready to go to the post office. its going to be a wild week ahead. Oh and October 10th... Ill be blogging at AAD and giving away some goodies... stop by.

WOOOO!
Now for some ok news. Audra and I have decide to put the Eververse on hold for a few months. We need to step back from the characters and let them relax a bit, so we can find the love of them again. That said, we arent stopping writing, but we are working on another series in another universe. its set here and now, and is a new urban fantasy. Im hoping to have the first book finished by christmas, so that we can sub out for agents in late january.
We will be getting back to the Eververse after the first in this series is written, so YES, you will have Masquerade by RT and Leather and Moonshine by fall. The dragons, Well Spiria's book might have to wait another year... Botany is damn hard to research.
We have other work we have to work on and will between slow parts of this new book, but im seriously excited about this and Im praying that we do this one justice. its a big idea, and a lot to talk on, starting a full new world that has nothing to do with the Eververse, but I think we are up to the task. Wish us luck.

4 STAR Review
THE SOFT EDGE OF MIDNIGHT
by Stella and Audra Price
RT Rating:
Category: EROTICA
Publisher: SIREN
Published: March 2008
Type: Erotic Romance (Paranormal)
Once again the Price sisters come up with a darkly original tale set in their Eververse world. With an assortment of shapeshifters, witches, demons and the fallen, it's a feast of supernatural characters. The romantic leads are an interesting pair of unicorn-shifters, but the demons take center stage with more personality, more plotlines and more sex.
Summary: When Illori escapes her demon captor she thinks she's the last unicorn-shifter left. She's resigned to being alone until she meets Karsten, a male unicorn who wants her for his mate. But before the couple can consummate their relationship, Lucifer sends his hunter Sammael to bring Illori back. Nybras wants Sammael's job, and after capturing Illori he thinks it's in the bag. But when Sammael joins forces with Karsten, all bets are off. (SIREN, Mar., 276 pp., $12.99)
Such a great review, and it means our reviewer has read us before, so thank you SO much! Couldnt have come at a better time!

I miss talking to Audra.
For the Eververse series, After Masquerade is out in January, we are going to do Drakes book, then switch stuff up, and do Feyd's book. We think he deserves it, and we are both looking forward to getting into that. And we, as well as fans, get to see a lot more of Trent (from the Duvall Inc. Series)... Im SO looking forward to that. Trent is a complete enigma to me, and to my sister as well, so this will be fun.
What? You dont know what Trent has to do with Feyd? heh. Trent happens to be Ashlyn's father, a father who she never met, and one that doesnt even know she exists. Feyd, raised right by his loving mum Lorna has to get a hold of Trent to ask for Ash's hand in marriage, especially because shes pregnant and it is TRENT... the one person He, Fallon and Arcady are actually scared of. They dont call him Afterburn for nothing after all. So when Trent shows up at Crypt to get to the bottom of all this hoopla of a daughter hes never met marrying a collegue, he meets Feyd's Mother... and things get even more interesting...
Heh... I know, its going to be such a fun book! And I cant wait to get it going.
And we are going to get back to work on the new book series we have been developing, and we needed that too. Im hoping we can get the first one finished by mid spring next year, and to shop it out and see where it takes us. Im hopeful.
We are still waiting on some submissions, and have to revise a book to resend to Loose ID for next year. Im hopeful that it will work for them, and that we will get the other submissions back with good news. Heres Hoping lots more...

But its dark as the end of the world outside. I know we will make it, and I hope we have some readers show up as well. It will be good to get out. Next week is Middeltown, and well have some fans coming up. I cant wait for that one as well. Insanity is abound.
So its pokemon time, then a shower, hair done and makeup, and then getting ready to go to the signing. Wish us luck. And maybe we will see you there.
Monday, September 01, 2008
signing heaven.
I mean, I know we have fans, and love every one of them, but she picked us up off a shelf, and knowing that, I know we are doing the right thing with the print. Its going slowly but we are doing it and I dont feel like its not making a difference. Its hard sometimes, but its also really rewarding when stuff like this happens.
So Im off to write, but I figured i would give a shout to our girls Frog and Marci for coming to hangout once again. I love them SOOOOO much!
Thursday, August 28, 2008
I swear im the worst blogger ever.
Why? Because I start our fall signing tour this weekend. Farmington CT is the first stop, then every weekend till the middle of October i have something. Im excited to be getting back out there and seeing readers and meeting new ones, I have hope this will be the best tour we have so far.
So its all packing and making sure i have everything I need. I still need to finish cutting out promo to bring but luckly i have tonite to do that. It never ends, the planning and the packing. Im just hoping that the amount of stuff im doing does pay off.
And this time through, I have two cons! ConTEXT in Ohio in September, and AlbaCON in Albany in October where Ill be on a bunch of panels! Wooo I cant wait! FINALLY! and this is going to do well for my Con resume, so that I can get on other panels as I go. I really cant wait for that. oh and Bianca and I are throwing a party there as well. HEH.
So wish me luck for this tour, I plan on having a freaking rad time.

So pick up Gifts if you feel so inclined. Audra and I love this book, its one of our favorites we have written.. I mean how can you NOT love Marsh and Janey?

Signings, traveling and back to work
Ooh and it was so fantastic to see the Jens at the signing as well. I'm SOOO glad they came cuz they both rocked! I'm looking forward to seeing them both again.
So Audra is home finally. so we are going to start writing again this week. I figure we can get the books finished and knock a lot out of our WIP list. Im off to start writing right now as a matter of fact. Be sure to check out my post at AAD this month, Im giving away some free print books and other good stuff..
Tuesday, July 08, 2008
No Audra... and apparently no words...
So what did I do? I created a new pen name for myself, to write shorts and novella's on my own. Seemed like a good idea at the time, and I did start writing. My problem? I'm stuck again. Why? because my brain is set to "pair writing" and I don't think I can write something good without her. Its insecurity I know, but the idea has come to me easily, but I cant write it. Its sitting here, scenes and chapters waking up in my head, but I keep thinking "Damn Aud is going to LOVE this idea!" and she has no idea about it and wont because its my work alone.
I don't think I can get my head around working alone really, because I haven't really done it in ages. So I toil on, push some words out. But I'm nowhere near as prolific as I should be and am when I'm writing with Audra.
So I have decided to just let it sit for half the day today, watch the last episode of Dr. Who for season 4 and cry it out, like i did for the 12th episode. *sigh* Watch the back episodes of Battlestar I missed while in Scotland, and maybe order some promo. Maybe that will get my brain working, and if not it might turn it to mush. Either way, I'm eager to have Audra home to get some work done.

Gifts is now in print!
The holidays are a time for giving, so when Marsh decides to give Jane a real Christmas, complete with family and friends, he never expected everything to go haywire. Meeting his family is only part of the problem. His parents, the reigning royalty of his race, are going to be a surprise to Jane, but no more so then his station as crown prince, a fact he had kept hidden from her till now.
Throw in a conniving princess that contracts his death, an engagement ring and his quirky and outlandish parents, and Marsh has his hands full, just presenting Jane as his consort. Two days before Christmas, Trent Duvall, Janey's Silent partner in the assassin syndicate shows in Austria and informs them of the fact that a special member of the Duvall inner circle has gone AWOL, and its up to Jane and Marsh to help him get him back.
With the help of Malcolm Frost and a few choice friends, Trent and Marsh leave Jane in Austria and go to Africa to retrieve their family member, and usurp the position of a murderous and insane Fallen Angel.

My carry on is still pretty heavy but thats due to the damn glass votive's I have to bring for the wedding. And we just found out that the Mongreen, the hotel we were having the reception at, has Asbestos *they have been doing construction to fix the wing that exploded with the boiler* and now the wedding party cant stay there, nor can anyone else. they have to close the damn place. Aud is a mess, or gutted as she said... and Now I have to hold that stress for her. Not good. Ugh it never ends.
So as you can see, surprises around every corner. So if your reading this, be sure to pop by the Authors After Dark blog, Im giving away a print copy of GIFTS to a lucky commenter.

Ready. Totally.
I have a book, Maggie Shayne's Lovers Bite, and I'm bringing the notebook to get down all the craziness when i need to write stuff down. My new video camera has a voice recorder as well, so that should be fun.
Still, I'm sad I'm leaving home for the month. I'm leaving Joe behind, hes got a small tour with his band he couldn't pass up, and I support that. Not going to see him for 21 days is going to suck major. We have been together for a little over 5 years and we haven't ever been apart this long.
And I'm going to be away from mum and the moo. Don't get me wrong Momma Angela, my sisters mum, will be in Scotland for me to see, but its still not the same as my mum.
And the moo is not happy. He sees the luggage and has been growling at me for no good damn reason. Since I'm always home with him, I know hes going to miss me, and hes going to be hella pissed when i get home.
On the bright side, I get to see Zorro, Pimms, Petey, Katie, Ninja... Oh thats all Audra's pets. I'll put video up for them, so you can see too.
So... This going to be quite an adventure, and I am looking forward to it, if a little sad I'm going to be be starting it alone.
OOH and today is Johnny Depp's birthday. Happy birthday Hottie.

signings, stupidity and birthdays
OOh and today is My best friend Brooke's Birthday. 29. WOO! And today is also Colin Farrell's birthday, WOO for Colin. I'm celebrating just for him.... HEH.
Last night though, at the mall we were at, the movie theater that was there had a fire alarm pulled in the middle of the Sex and the City showings. women went APESHIT. I mean it was like a demonstration out there. So the signing could have gone much better, especially if they had us in the front of the store, and we could have capitalized on that. *sigh* July should be better. I'm really looking forward to it.

Thursday Thirteen: MUSIC
Enjoy the music, These bands are fantastic.
*my rock career...*
Tainted Love by Marilyn Manson. Why? Because two of my favorite actresses are in it: Mia Kirshner and Chyler Leigh. Mia= Astrid and Chyler= Spinner from the Eververse series.
2.
Letters To You by Finch
3.
Worked Up So Sexual by The Faint. I LOVE this band. they are my 100% favorite. Remember this band, they are fantastic dance music!
4.
Faded by Soul Decision. When I used to tour, one of the other girls and I, when we got stuck driving a different car, We rocked this jam, and the song I Got a Man by Positive K. Such silliness.
5.
Analog Boy by The RX Bandits
6.
All My Friends are Metal Heads by Less then Jake. I have seen LTJ over 100 times from when I was 16-21. They put on a HELLA live show. Oh, and they like Pez. WORD.
7.
Blue Monday, Cover, by Orgy. Oh lords, Dont get me wrong, I love the original, but this is what I used to dance at the goth clubs to when i was in college.
8.
Just One Fix by Ministry. I Love Ministry. TOTALLY.
9.
NO Time by The Assorted Jellybeans
10.
Here We Go Again by Shelter. This was THE music with my friends while I was in highschool. My boyfriend then LOVED Shelter, so much so that we hungout at the Krishna Eateries GOVINDA'S in three cities following Shelter on tour one summer.
11.
Beating Heart Baby by Head Automatica. This is the "Dancy" side of the Lead singer of GlassJaw. Great Album, and SO much fun to dance to.
12.
Closer by Nine Inch Nails. I have seen NIN over 60 times since I was 16. While this isnt my favorite song, its the best looking video YouTube had to offer. And come on, who doesnt want to hear Trent Reznor tell them He wants to fuck them like an animal? HONESTLY. they guy is hot.... Seriously.
13.
Big Casino by Jimmy Eat World. Its a newer song, but I couldnt find my favorite song on Video, but really JEW is fantastic. Total anthems for Under 30 life in the creative industries. Do yourself a favor, Listen to Jimmy Eat World. I have seen them over 20 times.

Fantastic Birthday, If bittersweet.
We all sold books, so I was happy about that, and C.H. Gave me a wonderful bottle of champers, *which I'm drinking right now!* and my dirrty froggy brought me chocolate. good love it!
But I get home to news that Audra is sick once again, and that shes on some heavy meds including anti-epilepsy pills. Needless to say I'm scared. Shes so close to getting married, and I know its her stress from said wedding. I cant wait to get there to help her out and help her get well again. I'll call her tomorrow to check up on her.
So other then my champers, Tilly got me the COOLEST gifty, a POE uglydoll keychain! Woo! hes coming with me to Scotland! And Selena was totally awesome and got me two fantastic journals, one thats going to be come Our Afterverse Throne Book or The Fey book of Names. We havent decided yet, but I'm anxious to get started on that project.
Anyways thanks to everyone that showed up today, I love you all and you helped to make my birthday that much better. Im off to relax and enjoy whats left of the day.

Pseudo updating
So this week is getting ready for all the good stuff for this coming weekend, 2 days with Tilly, Robin and Cat in Philly! YAY! I'm really looking forward to this! Not to mention CHEESE STEAKS! Woo!
One month from today I'll be standing on Scottish soil, and rocking out with my sister. Its getting close, and as much as I'm not excited about flying alone, It has to be done. I just hope Audra is feeling better soon. Please send out good vibes to her for a speedy recovery from her illness.
I'm a bit fuzzy today from all the crappy pollen in the air, so I'm going to report on this weekend when I'm not a mess. I'm tired, my eyes hurt and I need sleep.

So much to do, so little time
For this tour, I found some very cool new places to do the signings, from a bookstore with a pub inside it, to a string of Borders we haven't worked with before. Lots of new people and new places to stock the books *muahahahahahah!* And of course, I get to chill with the girls. I dont think I could have put together a better signing group. All the ladies that do the events with me are mature, fun and best of all, amazing writers.
And with my birthday coming up, *which I have a signing scheduled* Im hoping to sell out of the books they have for me. That will be the best birthday gift ever. Throw on my Online birthday bash on my Blog Talk Radio show, with all the awesome special author guests that are cool enough to give away awesome goodies and books and ARC's... its really going to be a great birthday.
Deadlines... shit I need to get a hop on those things that are not done yet. And the book for Phaze is almost done. Still gotta write the blurb for this one and take an editing pass on it before its finished. I'm hopeful well have it done by this time next week. Now its all blood and mayhem. I'm down for that.
June 10th is coming like a freight train. I'm so excited to see my sister and spend time in Scotland, but I'm sad that It will be almost a month before I see my JoJo again. Not to mention my Moo. It's going to be tough but I think we can manage.
So that all said, if your close to the signings, please come out and hangout, especially if your in CT for the 24th of May. 4 hours of fun, goodies and a lot of interesting conversation! I'm so excited! What a way to spend your birthday right? And Im going to have a special goodie for anyone that does show up. LOL....
So what do I want for my birthday? I have been getting this question from family left and right, and while I keep saying Money... they ask still. So im going with my old stanbys:
See? I'm wicked easy. Though Like Christmas, I have a feeling they will just get me stuff i didnt ask for and have no use for... Le Sigh... My family is insane.

New cover!
Like it? I do. I'm very happy with it. I cant wait to hold it in my hands LOL. So here's hoping it interests sellers enough to buy it for the shelves. Ooh and you wanna see the cover wrap?
Yes Im very excited. Now we have to wait for it... but still It should be worth the wait. I believbe its going to be 280 pages, which rocks cuz its much bigger then Wishbound and people will be able to actually READ it. WOO HOO. So I will have it for the July signings.
And two weeks till the Spotty Dog event. So looking forward to this month of signings! I get to hangout with Tilly, and Cat and Bianca... its a good time when Im with those ladies!
Anywho, Im back to writing. Audra and I have to finish London for the Holidays!

Winners, Insights and Plans...
Now, thankfully, RT is over and everyone can get back to normal. Which is good. I mean I wasn't there this year, but I gotta say, from all the stuff I have heard, from the EC stuff to RT allegedly feeding conventioners leftovers at the Awards banquet from the Fairy Ball to the hotel being closer to condemned then to renovated I think RT fucked the cat with this one. I haven't heard one favorable report this year and that scares me. Greatly. I hope our promo went over well.
On an up note, I got my ticket for my flight to Scotland. So in June I'll be adding pictures, and hopefully video to this blog as I get it while I'm there. We are going to be doing a LOT of sight seeing, mostly for research for the books though so it should be a lot of fun... I'm happy that Ill be spending 21 days with my sister.. damn fun abound. Though I'm a bit apprehensive, that old Twilight Zone with Shatner keeps coming to mind... THERES SOMETHING ON THE WING! Nightflights across the pond... I think I'm going to sleep through it.
Ooh and did anyone see AVPR? damn... I sat here watching that movie purely mystified. Bizzare. I wouldn't wanna meet up with that Pred-Alien... *shudder*

A note from a read in Cali...
This is a great start to a new world of paranormals. What I really liked was how all the dragons interacted. They each had their own personalities, strengths and weaknesses. The idea of how each elemental dragon was different was fascinating, I wanted to know more about their individual backgrounds, talents and abilities. I especially liked how the decisions each dragon made defined them. Specifically, how their elemental abilities allowed them greater or lesser freedom/abilities, how this may have affected their outlook to life and to new changes. I felt this was very integral to the story (and future stories) since it gave insight into each dragons abilities and how they were able to survive individually. I know that this need to know what will happen to these characters will keep me wanting more. As an example of what I mean, I liked… while Char was relatively strong due to his ‘fire power,’ other dragons such as Keegan were extremely weak and unable to withstand the onslaught of time with a positive outlook. Char’s focused pursuit of Alcyone and how he seduces her and makes her is mate was sizzling. I could feel his strength and knew he and Alcyone would be happy. They were just meant to be together. On the other hand, Keegan, although she was a secondary character touched me very deeply, too. I kept hoping she would find a way to survive. Her pain and suffering seemed very real and tragic, even though I knew she had lived a long life. I didn’t want the others dragons to suffer, too! Could it possible she could make a reprise?! Or another dragon in a similar situation is still able to find the will to survive in spite of the obstacles of their weakened powers? (If you are the author, I know it is bad but most of my favorite characters, well…. I enjoy them suffering a bit so that when they do find happiness I find it all that more satisfying!)
Sooo… although the book had some Hot scenes, what kept me reading were the interesting characters and wanting to know more and MORE about each dragon’s past and how they became they way they are in the book. In fact, if there are any complaints they would have to be I wanted to know more about the dragons and their history. In the end I wanted each to find someone meaningful like Char and have a happy dragon life, too!
OOH needless to say Im sooo excited! that was the COOLEST email i have gotten ever.

Deep Water
Dragon Elementals Book 2
Stella and Audra Price
Bryn Case is a Dive instructor in one of the most beautiful places on
earth at a very exclusive resort. On the evening she meets Kael, a sexy
guest at the resort, she thinks she's found her soul mate. Kael on the
other hand, a Water elemental dragon, knows Bryn, a Glacies demon, is
exactly what he's been looking for his entire life, and curses it.
After all that had happened so far, to lose his heart to a demon is not
something he's prepared to do. Between treasure hunting and her love of
the sea, Kael knows this woman is everything he's ever wanted. Its just
finding and dealing with the demon that has her soul that's going to be
the one thing standing between him and his destined mate...
NOW AVAILABLE IN PRINT FROM TEASE PUBLISHING!
There was so
much packed into it that I savored this romance like a huge fudge brownie. This
second installment in the Dragon Elementals series was worth the time it took
to relish every yummy bit! I can’t wait to see what the Price sisters have in
store for the next book in this series!
4.5 stars, LynseyAnne, Ecata Sensual
The Dragon
Elementals series is addictive, and the next installment can't come out soon
enough!
5
stars, Marlene, Mystique Books
Stella
and Audra Price continue to write some of the sexiest books out there.
DEEP WATER has some of their most sensuous scenes yet, particularly when Bryn
swims with Kael in his dragon form. I also love the strength that Stella
and Audra Price imbue in their female characters. Bryn has lost her soul
in an ill-advised bargain with another demon but her spirit isn’t broken.
DEEP WATER is yet another highly recommended and sizzling hot tale from Stella
and Audra Price..
5
Klovers, Anne, Kwips and Kritiques
The
sexual tension in the first part of the story is delicious and is followed by
sex scenes that will raise your temperature to the limit. DEEP WATER was a
terrific second installment in the Dragon Elemental series and I really
look forward to the next.
4.5 blue ribbons, Sandi Potterton,
Romance Junkies
The
equal parts of playfulness and passion between Kael and Bryn was gripping to
the point that I read Deep Water in one sitting just to discover
what was going on. While I won’t tell what happened, I have to say that I
absolutely loved how Kael retrieved the one thing that would make his and
Bryn’s love the absolute it could be. Once again the Price sister’s have
taken a branch of their unique universe and given us a wonderful look at two of
the special people in it. Deep Water is an instant favorite
to be re-read time and again; a definite recommended read.
See for yourself why reviewers LOVE the Dragon Elementals Series!
