How do you feel about the Shifter world being given an overhaul? I mean, with all the new types of weres coming out, do you feel they all work, or do you feel that its writers trying to hard to do something different? are you intrigued enough to buy the new shifters and if and when you do, do you find that they are done well? How do you feel about Reptile shifters in general? Theres a sliht buzz around that its the next big thing (Lizards, cold blooded creatures and of course, snakes) do you think the reading world is ready for that?
Well thats it. Well pick a winner at random November 10th to get a free download of Surender and the goodies! Thanks so much for entering!

I love shifters and I'm always intrigued to see what an author does with that world and makes it their own. It's about time we get some repitle shifters. I love the reptile world and would love to read about how someone would see it.
It depends on the author and if the cover and blurp grabs me. I prefer shapeshifting dragons so far.
Dragons? HEH we have dragons... They will be out in January i believe.. keep checking back...
I prefer Dragons, also. I'm not sure I'm ready for the slithery ones, LOL.
why do i care if the Reading World in general is ready for Reptile Shifters?
This reader/writer/reviewer certainly is!!
My "first" Reptile Shifter came via Stella and Audra and i'll never forget that it opened up a whole new world to me! I grew tired of plain ole wolf shifting years ago, and i am a big fan of reptiles in general, so bring it on! I can't wait for the Iguana Shifters and Komodo Dragon Shifters! and yes, sex in Shifter form is just fine with me too! So i'm kinky! i believe in alien sex too!

I generally like this new trend of paranormal novels and creatures. But Reptilian weres do take a bit of getting used to, they aren't exactly my cuppa tea. So far I haven't read a great many books with these characters , but if well done, then I'm game to read them!
I love shifter books myself but there are alot of them out there. I found your were-snakes to be really intriguing and sexy(yup I said sexy) considering they were snakes. I prefer Dragons more than anything but it all comes done to how well they are written. So far I love Bianca D'Arcs dragon shifters but that could well changes since you have Dragons coming out soon. I also just read two books with birds of prey shifters which I really enjoyed because of the change of pace from the usual shifters.
i like snakes so I'd to see how you did the shifting. I realy like dragons and the animal ones too. icia
I personally have no problem with any reptile shifters if the story is good also. There is always room for something different in books because there are so many different readers with so many different tastes and interests
I like different kinds of shifters, but my favorites are the felines. I have enjoyed the dragon shifters, too.
There's a reptile shifter winding itself around my body, peering over my shoulder, and flicking it's tongue against my ear who inssssists I get the pewter snake bookmark.
Happy Halloween!
I love shifters, especially feline, but all shifters are hot. I just finished Griffin's Treasure and loved it. I like the added variety to the shifter world and think I could also go for reptilian shifters. I recently read Huntress (and would love more in that storyline) and the reptilian/mammalian alien species was great I have already read it again since I enjoyed so much the first time. MORE SHIFTERS!!! MORE SHIFTERS!!! MORE SHIFTERS!!!
Shapeshifters are a big part of the supernatural community but rather unexplored for the most part because the usual animal forms are usually used. Not that I dislike the norm, but I would like to see authors step out of the norm and explore other shape shifting species as well. Retiles and dragons sound very interesting! BTW, Happy Halloween!
I haven't read any of the snake shifter stories yet, but I love shifter stories, so why not?
I can handle the reptiles just leave the rodents out of it yuck. We have a ball python for a pet I can handle but won't touch the rats to feed it lol
Well, as a fellow were-world fan and author (no my weres have not disappeared. They still live in head is all), I have to say the overhaul was long overdue. I got so freakin' BORED with the way author after author after author was writing using the same fictional world with the same fictional rules. It's the whole reason my weres were born in my head. I wanted to read something better, and at the time, it seemed the only way that was gonna happen was to write it myself. Of course, THEN I met Stella and Audra and realized that many other readers were feeling the same way and doing something about it. I think it's great. But I think we need to do more. Fans don't realize that in all reality, we have the publishing world by the balls. We have the power. If we don't buy it, if we don't read it, they don't make any money. I think readers have much more power than they realize and we can change a lot more.
I haven't read a reptile shifter yet but have to say it is intriguing. I do really like the feline and wolf shifters though.
I like shifters. Any kind. Just make them believable. :)
