work work work.

Yeah thats about all i do. Getting ready for signings and releases that are all thrust on you at once is hard as hell. And now im thinking of redoing the Frost and Flame cover for the January release. I swear i give myself too many projects. Not that i dont like it, my brain needs to keep stimulated or else i go into a funk. Like i was in SC. I knew i had to work but it was so damn difficult. I have decided that I dont like vacations because it stands for me not working for a lengthy period of time. Ill stick to weekends off thank you very much.
So I just found out that Gifts and The Soft Edge of Midnight will be out October 1st. Two NOVELS at once. Its unheard of with us! and then, WISHBOUND comes out in october as well. Needless to say this is going to be a taxing month ahead, what with every weekend signings and weekly promotions to do to get the books selling at ARe.
OOh and Im going to do the ARE table at the Small PRess Expo BOTH DAYS! yep, im so excited, and Ill be handling some of the scheduling for them for the weekend too. SOOO excited! I have been looking forward to going to this event since we started writing, which in essence is a smaller more concentrated version of BEA. this is going to be a good time.
The Tease Dark Tarot stuff is coming along nicely. Im eager to see who tease chooses for this, And who gets the sexy cards! this is a lot of fun working with them on this promotion.
Today is mail day. I have to go to the PO and send out a CRAP load of mail to the places im doing signings with. tools of the trade so to speak. I hope they all do well.
Ok well thats my time here. I need to get back to work so Aud and I can get back to Cash and Faris.

Yep i got two weeks till the next signing, and boy am i getting harried. I have 50 cd's to burn to give out the free book at the signing, have to finish getting the goodie bags finished, pack everything up, and get the few books i was able to procure in the mail. This is the beginning of a season of signings and events and damn if im not excited about it.

Also, Tease is in the last leg of setting ready to open in August, with 7 releases, all going print. Two of them are mine and Im so excited about that as well. it will enable me to prove that we are a print author, and we DO sell better in print. Im looking forward to that.

The new website is getting LOTS of feedback, and I love it, All i have to do now is finishe up a few small things with it and Ill be golden. So this week is all trying to get stuff finished with the snake book, its going amazingly, and then its finish graphics... YAY.

Signing.. promo, and James Purefoy

So with the signing on friday, Im a promotiona mess over here. it looks like the arts and crafts section of summer camp threw up and them had glitter sprinkled on it. Yep, im that much of a freak when it comes to having unique promo. So for the next 12 hours Ill be sitting here watching ROME and other awesome series (like FARSCAPE) and getting my crafty on. Its times like this i wish Aud lived closer.

Im also on a full blown James Purefoy kick. ROME is the greatest show ever, lots of full frontal nudity.... I can dig it... and it passes the time. James Purefoy is so hot. Must keep watching him.

OOH and Rene and I started a new Bloggy. its called Delicious Darkness, and its going to be our new place to play. Come visit us and see what its all about. I think the graphics for it came out particularly good. LOL.
