Isnt it just pretty? Its really good for a second book in the series, and I KNOW you guys will LOVE harley and arabella. OOh the only thing? Arabella doesnt wear that horrible shade of lipstick... Harley wont have something that belongs in 1987 surrounding the base of his cock, *Snicker*

Updates!

Well Audra and I are through our To Collar and Keep edits and they have gone on to the proofer. I'm hoping we will get our new cover soon, I'm dying for it. like, FIENDING for this cover LOL.

We have been working on a new idea, and its going really well. Im excited about actually working on this one. Hopefully we will have info on this soon as well.

I'm leaving for vacay with Cara North at the end of the month to spend July 4th with her. It should be fun. More on that as I'm on vacay.

Ooh on the 6th of July my cohort in steam Elizabeth Darvill will be here to talk about her first EVER book release, Love in a Time of Steam (Which I did the cover for, LOL). So wait for that, its going to be... insightful.

I love these pants

Yes I have said it before, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE these pants! They are black denim, and soft and just a little stretchy.Comfort doesn't even BEGIN to describe how great these are. Now that I have shown off my new clothes, Lemme tell you all about What Im doing. With AAD coming quicker then I realized, I'm getting Promo done, design work done, costumes ordered for both myself and Audra, helping Jacki figure hers out, and oh yeah dealing with edits for our book To Collar and Keep. The book is the second in our satyr series, and will be available the week of AAD so im trying to deal with everything con wise and gets edits done. Its busy busy busy!

Coming Soon: Astoroth!

Yes, very excited that Astoroth is coming June 15th. If you dont know, Audra and I write a series about fallen angels, and while most are taking them as angels and such... our s are really fallen. they hangout with Lucifer, who is a staple in the books, and influence mankind. Our thing with this series is that Lucifer and his crew have gotten a bad rep, cuz Heaven has some really good PR. Really Heaven and those on high don't give a fig about whats going on on earth, or with God's chosen, the Humans. They are so neglectful, that Lucifer and his crew not only love humanity, but are on the front lines of the war for souls. They love, they lose and they hope, like everyone, its just that their wings are a bit more sooty and tarnished.

So this story is about Astoroth, high duke of hell. When a woman at the end of her bucket list meets him in a bar in Las Vegas, he sees the possibility for some harmless fun with a human just at her expiration date... what he doesn't count on is deciding to keep her...

Its a shorty, because you will see Astor later in the series (which we are busily writing) and when you do you will know all about his relationship with the human... and guess what? its 99 cents! thats right, super cheap and super sexy... Astor is quite a hottie.

So June 15th is when you can grab your copy of his short and fall in love with the Duke...

So, I got my birthday present from Joe. He got me the Tiffany & Co. key I wanted. See I believe that at least once in every girls life, they should get the blue bag, and the little blue box with the white ribbon, and the little blue pouch with the jewelry in it from Tiffany & Co. My thing was, I'm not a big jewelry fan in general, because I'm not all about status. When I saw the keys, I wanted one right away, but not one of the insane ones with the diamonds. Nope. I wanted and got the midnight titanium one. It fits me better then some glittery sparkly thing. Its almost flat black, and perfect for my style. So now, as he said, I don't have to wear my octopus all the time, if ever. Bastard. I knew he had an agenda. HEH.

Seriously though, its been a pretty good birthday weekend. LOST last night, and a full Monday just for me. Not too bad. Lets hope 31 is an awesome year.

Movie post: the Covenant: Candy for women

Ok so who saw The Covenant? It was this flick that came out in 2006 and was in essence, a male version of The Craft with hotter guys. I mean this flick is all around high school man candy... if you believe that guys look like that IN high school, and that 5 super hot guys (its like the boy band of witches, something for everyone really) would all be bro's and friends.

Does anyone see this for the blatant money making machine it was supposed to be? The flick has no real story, and no continuity, hell it just seems like a vehicle to show off the guys in swimming speedo's (not that I'm complaining, they were quite fetching)
So who has seen this flick, and what was your take on it?

New release coming up!

So on Saturday, we have a new book coming out in E book. You Burn Me is our novella about side character Dante Barratt, and the sexy witch that sets his world on its ear. It is a cute and sexy tale, far different from anything else we have written and Im hoping you guys enjoy it.

RT Recap: Friday! (with costumes!)

Friday was my busy day. I had a panel in the morning, Club RT party, expo after that and then the big party for the night. Friday was stella's steampunk day, and I wore my cute steampunk outfits (and YES, I wear these as normal clothing, I dont dress up for photo shoots and play poser, I just dont wear my goggles all the time.)

So this is my day clothes, and yes, I was SUPER comfortable.

This was my awesome evening outfit. Yes, the Skirt is from ChicStar, and it was the BEST BEST BEST thing to compliment the full outfit. I dont think I could find a better fitting and breatable skirt for this (cuz lets face it, DAMN I was trussed up!)

Thursday was a lot of fun. Since I didnt have anything major to do, I did a lot of walking around, had some lunch with Bianca D'Arc and Tilly Greene, and collected promo goodies.

Thursday night we had the Faerie Ball, and I was a faun. Infact I was videoed during the farie ball with my wicked horns on. Yes they were heavy, but damn did they look good. So heres some pictures:

I had to take those horns off though mid party, and put on a set of smaller ones. But Damn were they awesome to wear.

RT Recap and the beginning of the weeklong contest!

Well I'm somewhat more relaxed after the whirlwind that was RT this year. It was quite possibly the best one i have been to, by way of Hotel, parties and people. the Bookseller this year was only interested in getting the top three authors books, and the rest of us were fucked. Still, I sold out of Entwined by Fate, Hung out with some awesome people, got the word out about weresnakes and rocked all my cute clothes. So shall we get on with it?

So, today we will deal with wed. We got in really early, dropped off the gift baskets to the Bookseller room and the Club RT, then rocked to the airport to pick Liz up. It went quickly and then we were back at the hotel, Fondue getting everything up to the room and Liz and I rocking to registration. I had two panels on wed, the writing with a partner one (which was super fun, LOVE the ladies I did the panel with!) and then a promotional panel with Bianca, Flash and D. Renee Bagby. It was fun and I hope people learned a lot, we were spitting out info left and right.

We then got ready for the EC party. what an interesting time that was. I have to be honest, i could care less about the mens getting nekkid on stage, it was much more fun to grab swag and hangout with the people I knew laughing at the guys onstage. Cuz it was funny.

After that was the Mad Hatter's tea party. So much fun, a lot of goodness and goodies. I had a great time, though I hadn't slept since 530 AM the day before. Needless to say I went to my room and passed right out. It was a lot of fun. And a perfect beginning of the week for me.

I have decided to do something cool when I come back from RT. A weeks worth of posts on this blog, involving pictures, info and anecdotes from the week Im at the convention. And to celebrate I'll be giving away most of the hoarde I get while there.

See, I am a strange bird because I pick everything up, but I normally keep none of it. In Houston, I came home with almost 300 print books, and kept about 5. Were did the rest go? I had book signings after it and the people that showed to the book signings got special goodie bags.

Last year, I came home with like 20 books (sad right, not much going on by way of freebies last year, so im nervous for this year) and gave them all away on my blog with the goodies and fun other stuff I collected. that went over well...

So I'm going to rock my contest week again, and maybe, just maybe I'll have some other authors joining me. And Yes... these contests will be open to those overseas, so yes, just because you dont live in the good ole US of A doesn't mean you can win!

So Since Im not at RT yet, Im going to open the floor to you guys, the readers, to tell me what kinda things you wanna win. RT craziness is upon me!

Well on Tuesday at midnight I will be leaving to drive to Columbus Ohio for the RT convention. Im going to be BUSY BUSY BUSY! Wanna know what Im doing?

1215 to 1245 Ill be doing the Tease Publishing Spotlight because it got changed over, and Tabby (tease's publisher) wont be there till 2. If you are curious about Tease, pop by, get some info and maybe some goodies.

Im doing the panel "How to have a career by yourself while conspiring with someone else" at 345-445 with the Awesome Mechele Armstrong and Melissa Lopez. Very excited about it. If things work out right, I'll have Audra on webcam for the panel so she can get in on it too.

I love this jacket. I am trying to design a costume around this jacket. I have the corset, and I'm doing a cool skirt, or rather Im having a skirt made for me by a seamstress friend that matches, But I really love the way this jacket looks. I love the buttons, and I love the fact that its cotton, which is a huge plus because you know its going to breathe. I had been apprehensive about this one because of the ruffle, but i have come to enjoy the visual aesthetic. See I LOVE jackets, I love wearing them and I have quite a collection. So this will not only work awesome for some costumes for my steam punk collection, but it will be wearable on normal times too. You can buy this jacket HERE.

So why all the clothing posts? Because I always have to talk about clothes Im going to buy offline before I do it. It helps me to decided if I really want it, If I can see myself in it. I think I need more Jackets, Especially with all the events and conventions I am doing this year.

Well this has been a strange contest for us, and one that we will be doing again. There were SO many good ideas sent to us, but ultimately, Audra choose the name from something SHE had been toying with... Which I have to admit fits the whole scope of the story. But never fear, someone did win, just not in the way we thought they would.

So the winning name is You Burn Me. When you read the book you will notice it IS a double edged sword kinda name, because it works for both sides of the relationship. With that in mind, Cover has also been finished. What do you guys think?

Its a short dirty little story, about how Astor acquires his lover Sarah and why she agrees to be with a fallen (aside from the fact that hes a fantastic lover, LOL). You will see more of Sarah and Astor in the second book in that series, the forthcoming Bitter Kiss of Chaos. Isn't he sexy?

I found my steampunk skirt... finally!

Yes I found THE Skirt for my "ladies" costume for the Steam punk Worlds Fair this may! I already have my airship engineer's costume done, but I was searching for the most perfect skirt for the other costume, and I found it and its SUPER affordable.

Its black and white stripped with a flattering fish tail that pulls tight at the knees and then flairs to the bottom. its just steam punk enough and will look amazing with my new black satin corset and white ruffled shirt. I think the stripes will even slim my hips just enough as well. I can’t wait to try this one on.

So the costume? The skirt, the corset, my cute creme ruffled shirt, a jaunty mini top hat that's striped like the skirt, and my awesome granny boots. I can’t wait to take a picture of me in this one. I think I need a parasol, though I do have the cute netted gloves already and the awesome stockings.

New Pants!

OK so I got my super cute new pants from chicstar this weekend and wore them at LunaCon on Sunday. LOVE the pants, comfy, they breathe really well and the corset bottoms are SO cute. I paired the pants with a cute off the shoulder olive green shirt and my cute blow fish mottled green and black flats.

The pants are SO unbelieveably comfortable, and the satin piping that makes the sweeping design on the side is the perfect contrast to the flat black of the cotton. For RT I'll probably wear these with my cute black ruffled shirt, my black and silver corset and my cute bat heel shoes. I should be adorable.

Help us name our new Story!

So Audra and I have been working on a novella for about 4 years and I finally finished it. Why so long? Well there are lots of reasons but the most prominent is that Audra wasn't writing one of the Main characters. A friend of ours, Nadia had developed the character at first and then things got in the way. So, When we used him as a cameo in Sugar and Sin, we started getting emails about him, asking about his story, and what the whole deal was with the girl dumping her coffee on him was about.

So we used what we had, of the character, and changed a bunch of it, adding to his personality and subtracting some as well. What we came up with is whats in this new story. And guess what? This story, when available is going to cost only 99 cents! that's right, a full Novella, at 99 cents from All Romance E books!

So that being said, here's the deal. We don't have a name for this book. I have been trying to figure one out for the past 4 years, and I got nothing. That's where you come in. So heres the deal. Im going to give you guys the blurb, and we need you to help us come up with a name for this.

Winner will get not only a mention in the acknowledgments, but also a print copy of Sugar and Sin signed by both of us, and some awesome goodies, maybe even an "I DO IT DEMONSTYLE" shirt. So ready? Ok thought so. Here's the blurb:

Another thing: this story is rated R, and probably is a 3 flame rating at ARe, There is only 2 sex scenes in this one... and trust me, it works.

Its tuesday and im already exhausted.

This normally doesn't happen, I'm usually running pretty much full steam ahead until Saturday, when I start to slow down, unless its a signing week, then I take it easy with prepping and planning and then let my energy seep during the event.

That was the plan for this week, but its not to be. I'm already tired and knackered. Yesterday morning I had a dream about a guy I knew, and hadn't spoken to in over 10 years. I hadnt even thought about him for a long while, but we were friends in HS, and I used to have a severe crush on him.

So when I got up yesterday I realized that it was the 15th and it was his birthday, which was a nice little coincidence for me. So taking it as a reason to contact him, I went looking for him on Facebook because lets face it, everyone is on facebook. What I found shocked me. My friend passed away in Feb. Needless to say I was a bit disturbed, freaked out even, and I let myself have a good cry. He was a brilliant musician and apparently brilliant in general. Ill miss him. When we were close he always made me laugh.

My dream, or what I remember of it, was nice, and there was a hug involved between us. I like to think it was a good thing. And wherever he is, I hope hes a peace.

So because of this yesterday was a bit of a stretch for me to function. And because of THAT I'm exhausted and my week hasn't even begun. I have LunaCon starting on Friday, Kay Jamison is driving up to visit for the weekend on Thursday, and I have 12 panels this weekend. Normally I'm vivacious and excited about events, but I think I'm going to be more subdued this time and I hope that doesn't ruin my experience. I'm hoping this is a fun con, and I'm already packed for all my promo and books. Now to figure out clothing for three days. I'm not even remotely ready for this one... Normally I'm raring to go already.

Seeing Kay is going to rock, and we both need some human interaction. Its been far too long since I have hung out with the girls. Its why I'm looking forward to RT in April.

And I SO love this! Normally I’m very strange about corset tops, but this is so freaking cool, I’m really leaning towards buying this. I mean the back is FANTASTIC and would look so cute with a little black skirt or with my burlesque outfit to mix it up a bit.


The ruffle is Uber cute, and I like how its got buttons on the front and the corset style on the back. The tails are out of control though, and make the piece. I love clothes like this, because its one of those fantastic pieces that can go with jeans or a skirt, or even shorts and boots for a costume.

So Im thinking of buying this for the Romantic Times convention this April in Ohio to go with one of my daywear costumes, maybe with my black skirt, or my cute new Vigoss jeans.

Now... This Jacket is calling my name as well. Isnt it cute? total steampunk and would look SO cute with my new engineer costume (all I would need is new goggles!) That I seriously and considering it. What do you think? I love this jacket, and its one of the cutest I have seen in a damn long time. Personally I would have done the tan with tan or antiqued or leather laces, but i think its super cute either way.
